Lapmaster Wolters, a division of Precision Surfacing Solutions Group, has been deemed as an essential business as outlined by the State of Illinois "Stay at Home" order released on March 20, 2020.
Lapmaster Wolters is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of precision machinery which includes lapping, polishing, grinding, and honing technologies, as well as critical spare parts and and consumables to keep our machines in operation. The Company serves over 4,000 US based customers including those in critical sectors such as medical, food processing, defense, chemical, energy, transportation and telecommunications. During this unprecedented situation arising from Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Lapmaster Wolters will be operating with normal hours to ensure there is an uninterrupted supply of equipment, critical parts and consumables required to support our customers.
- We have put measures in place to minimize the risk of virus transmission. These measures include training to spread the awareness, sanitizing, social distancing and significantly limiting outside visitors unless it is essential for business
- Our purchasing team is working closely with the supply chain to mitigate the risk and to ensure sufficient inventory levels are maintained
- Our sales and technical teams are also available via email and telephone to support as necessary
